Eagle Eye MS-5D industrial gimbal camera adopts a two-axis gyro stabilized platform, has the ability to rotate 360 continuously on yaw, and has a built-in 15x high-definition daylight camera. It is mainly used for airborne ground imaging detection, identification, tracking, etc., and meets the needs of aerial mapping, monitoring, and investigation.It operates on a 28V power supply, with an average power consumption of less than 700W, making it energy efficient for extended missions.

General Specifications

The Eagle Eye MS-5D is a high-performance industrial gimbal camera designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern aerial surveillance and reconnaissance missions. This advanced gimbal boasts a robust design, with a maximum diameter of 490mm and a height of 650mm, weighting in at less than 60kg.It can be assembled on various types of unmanned aerial vehicles and other aviation carriers, as well as ships and vehicle carriers, so as to meet the requirements of sea and air use, making it an ideal camera gimbal drone solution.

MWIR Sensor

Equipped with a state-of-the-art MWIR sensor with optical zoom, the Eagle Eye MS-5D covers a wavelength range of 3μm to 5μm with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. It features a continuous FOV is 24° x 19° to 3.6° x 2.8°, and a short-range FOV of 1.2° x 0.96°, allowing for detection at distances up to 22km and recognition at 19km.

NIR & SWIR Sensor

The NIR sensor operates within a wavelength range of 0.7μm to 0.9μm, providing 1920x1080P resolution. It features a FOV is 1.2° x 0.7° . The SWIR sensor covers wavelengths from 1μm to 1.7μm, with a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels, It features a continuous FOV is 27° x 21.6° to 2° x 1.6°, and a short-range FOV of 0.5° x 0.4° .

EO Sensor

The EO sensor, operating in the 0.4μm to 0.9μm wavelength range, delivers 1920x1080P resolution and a continuous zoom horizontal FOV from 24° x 13.5° to 1.6° x 0.9°, enabling detection up to 24km and recognition up to 19km.

Servo System

The servo system of the Eagle Eye MS-5D allows for 360° continuous panning and pitch adjustments from +20° to -110°. It boasts maximum angular rotation speeds of ≥70°/s in elevation and ≥35°/s in pan, with an angular speed acceleration of ≥185°/s² in elevation and ≥132°/s² in pan. The gimbal ensures exceptional line-of-light stabilization accuracy of ≤0.00057°(10μrad).

Laser rangefinder

Additionally, the integrated laser rangefinder operates at a wavelength of 1064nm, with energy output of ≥90mj. It offers a ranging accuracy of ±3m and can measure distances ≥30km.
